Thoughtful Pasifika gifts, chosen with care

Hi, I’m Louise, the person behind Under the Bird. I started in 2016 with a small stall selling scented products under the name Soy Delights. Over time, that grew into the Pasifika gift shop you see today.

I design many of the earrings myself and choose gifts, homewares and baby items to share alongside pieces made by makers in Samoa. Quality matters to me, and I love choosing pieces that celebrate Pacific culture and feel special to give or keep.

You can shop online for delivery or click and collect. If you’d like to browse in person, my home-based shop in South Auckland is open by appointment.
